We've all had moments where we forget what day it is.  It's incredibly inconvenient, as many of our day-to-day activities are arranged via the use of dates.  Until now, you may well have missed important social events, such as going to the cinema.  It's not your fault.  You thought it was the 23rd, when in fact it was the 14th.

But worry no more!  Sheffield Steel Rollergirls are proud to announce the publication of their brand new calendar for 2012.  This wonderfully useful document (complete with hole at top for hanging) not only contains all the days you will need for next year, but it does it all with style.  Each month, some of your favourite SSRG skaters recreate famous movie posters with eerie accuracy and the gratuitous use of puns for which roller derby is known.  Remade films include:

- Pulp Friction
- The Brakefast Club
- Skatin' in the Rain
- Reservoir Blocks
- Blockwork Orange

There are loads of others.  One for each month, in fact.  However, we do have to leave you with some surprises for when your awesome calendar arrives.

Even better, 10% of whatever you pay for the dozens of calendars you will surely buy (or just one, if you only need 366 days next year) will be given to Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice (http://www.bluebellwood.org/).  We want to do this because they work so incredibly hard to help people and thoroughly deserve some help in return.  Please check out their website and see what amazing things they do for families in serious need.

So you should feel really guilty if you read this and don't buy one.  If you do buy one, enjoy that warm fuzzy feeling.  Then scowl at the people that didn't.
